It's not only the taskbar icon, but also the ''ollama app.exe'' file, after double-clicking it, it loaded for maybe 1 or 2 minutes, however, then no window opened.

I had the same issue, no messages in logs. Resolved this when i installed Microsoft EdgeWebView2

@hoyyeva This was only happening on my windows OS. I had a barebones installation with ms edge removed (not sure if that removed webview). My mac version works fine

I installed webview2 then ollama works well. Thanks!
However I have tried a lot of times to install webview2 but all failed.
Finally Outlook application popped up today, asking me if I want to fix webview2, then webview2 was finally fixed......

Thanks for ur help! It seems that the key factor should be Microsoft EdgeWebview2. Interestingly I fixed EdgeWebview2 with the help of Outlook in the end...
