Description:
Currently, all chats in Ollama are bundled together in a single list. While functional, this can quickly become messy and difficult to navigate, especially as the number of chats grows.

Proposed Feature:

  • Ability to create folders or subfolders to organize chats by topic, project, or any other user-defined category.

  • Options to sort chats by date, name, or custom order.

  • Drag-and-drop functionality to move chats between folders for easier management.

Benefits:

Reduces the need to repeatedly ask the model for explanations, saving time and GPU resources.

Makes the chat interface cleaner and more readable.

Helps users maintain long-term workflows and easily access past conversations.

This feature would make the offline Ollama app much more practical for users who rely on it for complex projects or ongoing research.
