What is the issue?

When updating ollama (for the first time) the download of the "Ollama linux amd64 bundle" failed (and has kept failing, which is a problem with my internet not yours) however, after attempting to update I cannot even keep using the old version while attempting to install the new version

I suggest moving this part of the script:

if [ -d "$OLLAMA_INSTALL_DIR/lib/ollama" ] ; then
    status "Cleaning up old version at $OLLAMA_INSTALL_DIR/lib/ollama"
    $SUDO rm -rf "$OLLAMA_INSTALL_DIR/lib/ollama"
fi

to below the download of the required files (and save files and delete them afterwards rather than pipe them)
