There may still be a corner case leading to this. Possibly a server crash is related to the detection logic failing and allowing multiple copies of the app to start.

Two variations that might lead to somewhat similar behavior:

  • Another copy of Ollama running on 11434 in another user account on the windows system (although this is more likely to lead to the app exiting in error)
  • Setting OLLAMA_HOST (e.g. different port)
