Please add an option to force automatic updates to be disabled.
Many updates don't affect the user experience for most users, but they require downloading over 1.5 gigabytes after starting the computer. This can be annoying, especially when new versions with very minor fixes are released daily. It would be great to have an option in the interface, or at least an environment variable, to disable automatic updates when they're not needed.
