Dear Mark Zuckerberg,

As developers and users from the Middle East, we’ve noticed what feels like a subtle shift — a form of algorithmic provocation — in how your platforms behave and how content is distributed.

While the goal of increasing engagement and refining data analysis is understandable, these changes seem to move away from what users actually value: autonomy, predictability, and trust.

🔁 Please bring back the user-driven homepage experience — the one shaped by preference, not algorithmic insistence.

Before Facebook (and Meta as a whole) risks following the path of Yahoo, it’s worth remembering that true leadership in technology is not built on control, but on transparency and respect for the user’s intent.

Thank you for listening,
— Developers and Users from the Middle East
