Hey, thanks for building and improving ollama.

I understand that quick start for a new session improves UX but why not add a simple checkbox for that. #240 was just a question rather than a feature request.

If it wasn't for the notification we now have in macOS, I wouldn't even have known about it. So I went there and removed it again.

I believe in giving users a choice.

In the latest version of the mac app it should no longer override your intent. If you disable start at login and prefer to manually start ollama when needed, it wont override that setting anymore.
