Hello, first of all this project is super cool, and balance parallel between ease of use and flexibility.

Yet, As a new user, I do find a hard time to understand the settings related to github and repo.

Below are a few comments and recommendations of the documentation:

A clearer instruction about adding GitHub accounts

I read the documentation of "Outh" in the Advanced Configuration, before I realized that I should actually add in the account in the Settings tab with my personal access token.

Difference between Sync Repo, Repos tab, and git repo in Stack

This is somehow still unclear to me.
For instance, what is the difference between "adding a repo in the Repos tab" VS " Adding a branch of a repo directly when setting up the Stack"?

How should I use the Sync repo properly? and What is the difference between this Sync Resources and a repo I set in Repos tab?

@mbecker20 commented on GitHub (Aug 30, 2025):

Understood, the docs are definitely missing some information. The difference between using a Linked Repo, vs configuring same repo on each Stack, apart from convenience is that Linked Repo has all the Stacks share the same single clone (copy of repo folder host) which Komodo will cd into and deploy from.

For syncs, see https://komo.do/docs/resources/sync-resources
