I think it’d be nice if gitea had the possibility to federate with GitHub, if only on a manner of a single repository.

The usecase for this would be allowing users on that gitea server, or users within the federation, to interact with the project on GitHub, while not having an account on GitHub.

The GitHub side of this could look like a bot on a per-minute cron job that syncs actions between GitHub and the gitea server.

@ShadowJonathan I think you'll be happy to learn that Forgefriends and Forgeflux are already working on this! For the Gitea side, Gitea doesn't even need to do anything special because other Forgefriends and Forgeflux will interact with Gitea through the ForgeFed protocol.
