Feature Description

Under GitLab, there is a feature to request access to an organization (e.g. https://gitlab.com/groups/gnutls/-/group_members/request_access). Such a feature would be nice for Gitea.

Also, a configuration setting allowing auto-join would be a plus, because in our case we have open organizations that welcome everyone.

This is a good idea, but if implemented there should be a way to disable join requests on a per-organization level.

Yeah, I guess the setting should be something like “Join requests: Allow/Deny/Autoaccept”.
