Description

Currently whole Gitea sources (codes and non-code assets including images) are licensed under MIT license. However, for non-code assets, it might be preferable to dual-license also under Creative Commons license.

Regarding CC license choice, we can choose between:

  • CC-BY
  • CC-BY-SA
  • CC-BY-ND
  • CC-BY-NC
  • CC-BY-NC-ND

Note: Any CC licenses with either NC (NoCommercial) or ND (NoDerivatives) clauses or both are considered non-free and may not be suitable for in particular Debian.

Please discuss here for choosing the appropriate license.
