Releases should also be accessible through API via the tag_name, tag names are unique. This would be important for automated assets uploads to a release through a ci pipline. Without that i have to make two calls, one to get all releases, then search for a tagname, the other one to upload assets. CI pipelines normally expose a environment for TAGS, so i am able to upload some assets via curl...
