I have also encountered this issue. Specifically, I am unable to tag an issue with a git tag. I can tag it with a branch, but not a tag.

My current Gitea version is 1.24.6.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
