We are experiencing behavior where only the workflow from the default branch is being used. Is there a way to disable this new behavior?

I believe it would make sense for such fundamental changes to be controllable via feature flags or settings, allowing them to be enabled or disabled as needed.

Maybe a flag in the workflow?

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
