Feature Description

I'd like to request the development of an official Gitea extension for Visual Studio Code that enables developers to view, review, and manage pull requests directly within the editor. This would greatly enhance the developer experience, especially for teams using Gitea in self-hosted environments. Key features would ideally include listing PRs, viewing diffs, inline commenting, approving or requesting changes, and basic merge operations. While third-party extensions exist, they are limited in functionality and not actively maintained. An official, secure, and fully featured extension would help drive broader adoption and streamline workflows for developers who spend most of their time in VS Code.

It looks feature complete except doesn't seem to have inline commenting/review and diffing tho.

Interesting, I'm also considering such a topic a few days ago. Github's extension: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=GitHub.vscode-pull-request-github

Hey lunny, the above extension is pretty good imo since I made it with VS code design principles in mind. It maynot be Github Pull Requests but its pretty damn close. I have been continuosly updating everyday so that it is packed with latest features.

I would love if the official Gitea linkedin or you could share a link to it so that more people would be aware.

It didn't get that much reach so I hope the official Gitea's linkedin sharing it would extend its reach to more people. I publish regular change logs with feature additions and extensive testing. So it is a good project to share with the Gitea community. I will also submit a PR to awesome-gitea
