I'm interested in this feature as well.

@wxiaoguang @lunny is this an oversight that no comments are present from the product team because the request fell through the cracks?

Gitea already has a "dependency" feature like sub-issues (on the sidebar)

And in 1.24, Gitea could also render the issue list like GitHub:

So, if we'd like to introduce full GitHub's Sub-issues feature, it needs to clarify the details first (complete user use cases): what are the new behaviors and differences?

We close issues that need feedback from the author if there were no new comments for a month. 🍵

I think I have said clearly in https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/32174#issuecomment-2668817450 .

We can't just say "hey please keep stale issue open" without any constructive feedback.

I have read it, but I don't see how it answers my question in https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/32174#issuecomment-2668817450

My answer is: this feature request duplicates with the existing "issue dependency" feature.

Thanks.
