flagging for attention. 48% broken is a quiet crisis and needs a dedicated audit pass to categorize dead links vs stale-but-fixable ones. not blocking anything today but shouldnt be left sitting much longer.

Closing as orphan. The weekly link-check workflow that files and updates this issue was deleted in commit 409d58c57 (PR #1348). See interviews/vault/BOOK_LINKING_PLAN.md "2026-04-16 follow-up decision" section for full rationale — book URLs were ~90% stale due to anchor churn, and the StaffML → book linking model was replaced with author-curated details.resources: [{name, url}] per question. The 48.2% link health number this issue tracked reflects exactly the anchor-churn problem the new model was adopted to resolve.
