Above is an example of a case study from the textbook (from security threats to ml models). Some problems we discussed were what about the models made this exploit possible, why this worked, and how researchers fixed it.
Above is an example from Computer Architecture Hennessy & Patterson (from embedded microprocessors). Some things I liked were how it pointed out and used processors from previous sections, how it discussed challenges and the purpose of the chip, and how it related concepts to a product that readers presumably enjoy using and would love to make themselves.
