  1. Refined the chapter layout to ensure pages are well structured and free of unnecessary blank space.
  2. Changed the PDF TOC title to “Table of Contents” in quarto/config/_quarto-pdf-vol1.yml.
  3. Increased the reserved space for section numbers in the mini-TOC to prevent number/title crowding.
  4. Refined the \sidenote definition in header-includes.tex to improve margin note formatting and consistency.
