The current benchmarking federated learning section is rather brief. It only discusses medperf and this should be expanded to be more comprehensive because there is a lot of work in benchmarking federated learning systems.

Closing — the book has undergone a major two-volume restructure since this was filed. The federated learning content has been reorganized. If specific improvements are still needed, a fresh issue with current context would be more actionable.
