Reading the specs I noticed that we seem to refer it only to open-source maintainers.

I thought that rewording some sentences to generic purpose will allow us to be open to all the kind of codebase.

For example:
As an open-source maintainer... should be As a commitizen...

...to the consumers of your library: should be ...to the consumers of your codebase:

...that an open-source maintainer knows about, should be ...that a maintainer knows about,
and so on
