bug description

Certain Instagram Reels are not able to be downloaded, saying that there isn't any media to download.

reproduction steps

  1. Open Cobalt and Paste the Link of one of these Reels.
  2. Press the download button.
  3. Error message plops up.

Firefox Version 138.0.4 (64-Bit); Windows 11 Home 24H2

additional context

I am using the Browser Version of Instagram, not the App Version. I've already seen that the Link you get when you press share is bugged, but that is not the case here. It's the direct link from the search bar.

both of them are age restricted, so cobalt can't see them by default. however, it should indeed show an appropriate error instead of a generic one.
