new tab "mate" allows you to watch and listen to torrent files directly in your browser without downloading. This works on the principle of ‘torrent in the cloud’ using P2P, WebRTC and WebTorrent technologies.
to get started, you need to upload a torrent - you can paste a link to a .torrent file, a magnet link or upload a file from your computer. after downloading, the system will show a list of available files (video, audio, documents) that you can immediately watch or listen to without downloading.
main features: viewing cached files without internet, support for popular formats (MP4, MKV, MP3, FLAC, PDF), does not require authorisation. If there are not enough people sharing, content is downloaded via cloud proxy.
