Description

When I try to download a (french) youtube video, the video is saved with translation.

reproduction steps

  1. Go to Youtube (or Freetube), choose the video
  2. Click on copy the youtube link
  3. I download it with cobalt
  4. The video is downloaded... but with translation (instead of original)

Environment

  • Browser: Firefox, Safari, DuckduckGo
  • OS: macOS

platform information

Mac Osx Sequoia

additional context

Are there any solution to download a video without translation?
IA translation is awful compared to original, don't you think? (mistakes, voice, quality of sound)
Thanks for your help

i'll check why this is happening in a bit, but as a temporary fix, you can set the dub language to french in audio settings: https://cobalt.tools/settings/audio#youtube-dub
