this is an alias to fxtwitter, which we don't support for moral reasons
@GalaxinTM commented on GitHub (Oct 16, 2024):
shit it just got acquired by fxtwitter around September 23rd - 26th, I swear it was vxtwitter when I opened this up I'm not tripping

@wonderlarr commented on GitHub (Nov 26, 2024):
Hello, I'm the owner of this website (stupidpenisx.com). I just use a 302 redirect to redirect all requests to fxtwitter. It was vxtwitter but I switched it due to some outage issues with vxtwitter at the time, I'm going to switch it back now and have been looking into rehosting vxtwitter on my own server personally.
If someone could enlighten me, what is the difference between vx and fx? I don't know of any history or controversy.
Perhaps it could be a good addition to locally resolve domains (or at least redirects) first before considering if it's supported or not?
@GalaxinTM commented on GitHub (Nov 26, 2024):
there's a whole thread about it in bluesky, and someone in the comments provided the doc
https://bsky.app/profile/wukko.me/post/3l73ay4yage2p
tl;dr doc claims that fxtwitter's owner is a groomer
@wonderlarr commented on GitHub (Dec 2, 2024):
After going through that, yeah, will not be using that anymore. Thanks for the info! I didn't open this issue but at this point would you consider adding support for this domain?
