To Reproduce

Description

The AI bot assistant integrated into the better-auth platform is currently not responding to any queries. This makes it difficult for developers to get quick answers while integrating or debugging better-auth in their projects.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to the better-auth documentation site or the AI assistant interface
  2. Submit any query to the AI bot assistant
  3. Observe that the bot does not return any response

Current vs. Expected behavior

Expected Behavior

The AI assistant should respond to developer queries in a timely manner, providing relevant answers, code snippets, or links to documentation as it is designed to do.

Actual Behavior

The bot does not respond at all. No output, no error message, no loading indicator — the interface appears frozen or silently fails after submitting a query.

Additional Context

This issue affects developer productivity, especially during active integration. A working AI assistant is a key support resource for the better-auth community. A status update or temporary notice on the docs site would be appreciated while this is being investigated.

Closing this issue — it's about the AI chatbot on the documentation website running out of credits, not a code bug in the better-auth library itself. This is the same root cause as #8612 (OpenRouter credits exhausted). The docs site maintainers will need to top up the OpenRouter credits to restore the AI assistant.
