animpy is a minimalist terminal animation engine that recently hit 5k downloads. It uses buffer swapping for smooth, flicker-free rendering and supports non-blocking input for interactive TUIs. Adding it to the Python list under Libraries.

Scripts that accept text prompts are not a good fit for this list
