On this particular thread, it was mentioned that there may be a need to provide a disclaimer or flag for certain projects that have not-so-obvious caveats:

I don't really mind, especially SAML... 😭 but I think we should add an anti-feature warning similar to https://awesome-selfhosted.net/ (Security features exclusive to non-free tier or something close)

I think a more appropriate option would be Security features limited or restricted by licensing. This would prevent contributors from trying to circumvent the flag through usage of legal verbage.

I am moving the conversation here.

I think adding [xxxxx] features limited or restricted by licensing flags and other disclaimers would be a valuable disclosure for people considering certain projects.

This was driven by a conversation about https://sso.tax applicability to certain projects listed here.
