Why is it awesome?
Collection of 230+ Nagios-compatible check plugins for Icinga, Naemon, Nagios and friends. Each plugin is a stand-alone CLI with sensible defaults so WARN/CRIT only fire when it really matters, auto-discovery where possible, and consistent units across Linux, Windows, macOS and FreeBSD. Public-domain (Unlicense), Python 3.9+, signed MSI for Windows so no Python is required on the target. Ships an Icinga Director Basket (~150 Service Sets) and per-plugin Grafana dashboards.
This is Linuxfabrik's own software, submitted under the "healthy ecosystem" clause. The Linuxfabrik Monitoring Plugins have been developed and maintained by Linuxfabrik since 2017, with contributors beyond the core team (see CONTRIBUTORS, the issue and PR history) and production use by Linux System Engineers at third parties (see TESTIMONIALS.md and the public demo at icinga-demo.linuxfabrik.ch).
