While Bitwarden itself is Freen and Open-Source Software, it has a hard dependency on MS SQL Server which is closed-source/proprietary software.

Our guidelines state

If your additions depend on proprietary services outside the user's control, they must be marked ⚠.

Hence I think it is appropriate for Bitwarden to be listed with the ⚠ symbol
