HoloViews is a newly released library that is rapidly generating interest:

  • Winner in its category at this years UK Open Source Awards (2015)
  • Already available as part of SageMathCloud.
  • Supports multiple backends including matplotlib and mpld3 (not on this list but should be!)
  • Currently trending

As one of the main authors, I know it is awesome so please check it out! :-)
