What is this Python project?

By wrapping vcrpy with Flask, Cornell provides a lightweight record and replay server that can be easily used during distributed system testing and simulate all HTTP traffic needed for your tests.

What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones?

By building a proxy server and complete workflow on top of VCR.py, cornell makes it super easy to test complex external API services. Wheather you have full control over them or not.
