What is this Python project?

It's an independently maintained library that facilitates work with PostFinance Payment Service Providing. It exposes a convenient interface that allows creating payment forms and validate incoming transaction update statuses.

What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones?

There are currently no Python libraries that support integration with PostFinance PSP. There is only one, unmaintained django-shop module.
