Maintainer Shield — a GitHub Action that protects OSS maintainers from AI slop PRs.

Category suggestion: Code Review / Utility

What it does:

  • 15-check AI slop PR detection (AI patterns, commit timing, submission speed, behavioral signals)
  • Automatic issue triage (bug/feature/question/docs classification, duplicate detection)
  • Contributor reputation scoring (0-100)
  • Configurable: comment, label, or auto-close

Why it matters: AI slop is the #1 crisis in OSS right now. cURL shut down its bug bounty. Godot maintainers called it demoralizing. This is the only action that combines slop detection, triage, and reputation in one tool.

MIT licensed, dogfoods itself.
