The camera icon works and I can scan the QR code on the GitHub configuration web page.

It seems to add an entry in the Bitwarden app which looks like

otpauth://totp/GitHub:plittlefield?secret=XXXXXXXX&issuer=GitHub

but when I try to use it from the mobile app or browser extension, I see no TOTP code displayed.

All done, I followed the documentation to log in to Bitwarden web site, purchase and download my premium key, then install it on my own self-hosted Bitwarden. I can now use TOTP on web sites.
