Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to 'Settings'
  2. Click on 'Lock App'
  3. Wait until the app crashes
  4. Open the app again
  5. Go to 'Settings' again
  6. Check that 'Lock App' isn't enabled

Expected Result

I would be able to activate the option 'Lock App'

Actual Result

App crashes a few moments after clicking the option 'Lock App'

Additional Context

I have the app installed for a few years, with locking working well. A few months ago, I could't open the app, it crashed when the biometric unlock was supposed to show up. I forgot to report at that time and since I rarely need the app, I only remembered to check the issue today.
Since I have a backup of the app, I've reinstalled and now it works, except the issue Iv'e reported here.
It seems very likely that both issues have the same root, so I decided report this one since it's easier to reproduce.

  • Device: Huawei P Smart 2019
  • OS Version: EMUI 12 (Android 10)
