Steps To Reproduce

  1. Try to auto-fill on a website or app with no linked elements
  2. Open vault
  3. Try to click the search button

Expected Result

Before 2026.4, a search icon appeared on the top right corne, next to the profile picture, allowing to search stored logins in the vault.

Actual Result

Since 2026.4, the search icon disappeared and there is no way to search elements to fill the login input with.

Additional Context

I believe this is linked to the PR #6776 merged in 2026.4, which hides the search icon when there is no element. Could this feature be modified so it doesn't apply to autofill ?

Vaultwarden 1.36.0

I think you have to contact Vaultwarden regarding this issue. (though I'm not sure if BW self-hosted versions could be affected as well)

I'm on the BW EU cloud server and do still see the search icon with BW Android app 2026.4.0:
