This should be fixed in the next version. Simplenote is passing "simplenote.com" as the URI, which is not a valid URI (should be "http://simplenote.com"). I put in a patch for it. See 8e2d654b40

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
