  • Signing in (Authentication)

@tomocrafter:

I can login to same account using Chromium browser(Brave) with passkey.

With a passkey that is stored in your Bitwarden vault?

Thank you!

@pamperer562580892423
Yes, It is only saved in my Bitwarden vault. not in other places like Google Password Manager.

@tomocrafter I am able to reproduce this. After attaching the debugger, I see that the GetCredentialsRequest we expect from the OS is never received. This leads me to believe it is either a bug or intended behavior on Google's part. I've opened a ticket1 with Google to get clarification on the expected behavior.

Any updates to this?? This is an extremely urgent issue. This effectively locks you out of your Google account on your Android since Google does NOT let you use SMS if you have a passkey enabled, yet you cannot login with a passkey because of this bug... I have to do steps to recover my account just to log in every single time I need to do this.

@xmicro According to this comment from @SaintPatrck , it's a Google issue where Bitwarden can't do anything.
