Steps To Reproduce

  1. A password must contain "<%#" sequence in any part

Expected Result

All symbols are rendered

Actual Result

The sequence of these 3 symbols is not rendered if you click the eye icon to see the pass. If you copy pass value in app, the value is correct. Desktop and extension render the same pass correctly.

You do realize, that this version is outdated and not longer supported? The current Android mobile app version is 2025.2.0. I think you should install that one first. Especially since you seem to be reporting a bug, that is already fixed. (https://github.com/bitwarden/android/issues/3332)

PS: I'm not a Bitwarden employee.

I didn't realize when I posted the report. But having rechecked, I had to discover a bigger problem with updates and the currently latest BW version no longer has this issue. Case closed.
