Steps to reproduce

  1. create a new login
  2. write something in an input box
  3. move the caret not at the end of the string
  4. type something

Expected behavior

You're typing characters where you positioned the caret

Actual behavior

As soon as you write one character, the caret is moved at the end of the string and any further character typed gets written at the end of the string
