Bitwarden Beta

  • I'm using the new native Bitwarden Beta app and I'm aware that legacy .NET app bugs should be reported in bitwarden/mobile

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Set up entry with Password which has character I and l.
  2. Look at it.

Expected Result

Bitwarden use a "good" font like monospace font to distinguish the similar characters like I and l.

Actual Result

It's difficult to distinguish l and I.

I believe this is not a feature request, but rather a regression compared to the old .net app.

The feature request on the forum (forum link not working, btw.) seems to be about the font used in non-hidden fields (username, notes etc.), where no color-coding is used.

I see a regression in the password field, as well. Distinguishing 0/O is not easy, since the line in the 0 is not displayed any more and the colors are a lot less noticeable. Furthermore, I and l just have slightly different heights, compared to different shapes (straight line vs curve) in the old app.

I cant find the "vote" option on the forums, but believe, although monotype might not be needed or wanted for text fields, a more accessible font should also be used those fields

Hi @josb,

This was addressed during our recent UI refresh. As you can see from my screenshot below, the font for Password fields has been updated and it is now easier to distinguish between ambiguous characters.
