How the hell do you guys work? Were you drunk in this hot weather or something?
It's been impossible to install or update the app from the Play Store since yesterday. I'm on Android 15 and I'm having no other problems with other apps. Have you completely lost your mind?

Also here:

Another user here.

Just today, I successfully updated the password manager app and authenticator app on one device, and just to test it, installed both without any problem on another device. Both devices are on Android 15.

So there seems to be no general error with versions 2025.7.2. It's probably more a "hiccup" on your devices and I would try to restart the device (again), maybe empty the PlayStore app cache, and try it again.

--> Possible to install and update password manager and authenticator app from PlayStore.

Are you a clown?

I took the time to test this after I read your posts here - and took the time to share my experience, that I had no problems on two devices installing/updating both apps. Some would infer by that, that the apps have no general problems then, because then everyone would be affected by it.

And over the years, from time to time I had an app in the PlayStore that doesn't update. It always resolved itself, and seems to have been a temporary issue on my device. - If others aren't affected by it, probably no general issue then.

Following your previous posts, I don't expect any polite or constructive response from you, so this is probably my last statement to that matter.

While I'm not able to reproduce the issue with our apps, I did experience the same behavior with Microsoft Edge yesterday while investigating other reported issues. The app would download but installation would fail at around 99% before showing a dialog stating the app could not be installed. Restarting the phone and clearing Play Store cache did not resolve the issue. However, when I attempted just now, it installed as expected.

Given this issue exists for apps that we do not publish and you are the only one to have reported the issue, I'm inclined to believe it is an intermittent issue with Play Store. If you are still unable to install the application I suggest you reach out to Google support. Alternatively, we publish every release to F-Droid, or you can download the binary from our Releases page.

@SaintPatrck I just wanted to add / share a similar experience. Because @jimmyoffa believe it or not, I also experienced the same issue with another app (Komoot) and like @SaintPatrck deleting the cache indeed didn't help.

First, the update of Komoot failed. Finally, I deinstalled Komoot, but the reinstall also failed. - But the PlayStore seems to add failed installs in some kind of a queue - and later, finally the install was successful again. (I restarted the device two or three times in between - don't know if that helped or not)

So I too think now, there was an issue - but it's probably an issue with the Google PlayStore, as other apps were also affected by it (like @SaintPatrck also wrote already).
