Steps To Reproduce

  1. Have a premium subscription
  2. Add a secondary vault via New organisation > Free plan
  3. Add a login entry into that with a totp code

Expected Result

The 2FA code will be displayed on the "Verification codes" screen of the android app that lists all of your codes.

Also, going into the login item should display the verification code as well.

Actual Result

It is not displayed on the "Verification codes" screen. Not only that, when searching for the login entry and opening it, the "Verification code" field says "Premium subscription required" (I obviously do have a premium subscription)

Screenshots or Videos

The app won't allow taking screenshots unfortunately.

Additional Context

Just to point out again I do have a premium subscription.

When navigating using the browser to the bitwarden web app, I can navigate to the login entry and see the verification code for it. Same goes for the Firefox browser extension

Build Version

2025.1.0 (19622)

What server are you connecting to?

Self-host Server Version

No response

Environment Details

  • Device: Pixel 6 pro
  • OS version: Android 15 (1 Jan 2025)

Issue Tracking Info

  • I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.

Hello,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are aware of this behavior and the Engineering team is actively investigating it. If you wish, you can follow this matter on GitHub here (https://github.com/bitwarden/android/issues/4587).

For the time being, please consider accessing those organizational vault items through a different client such as the Web App, in order to copy the 6-digit TOTP codes.
