Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to Secure Note
  2. Click on Add Item
  3. Click on New Custom Field
  4. Select Hidden
  5. Give a name and Click OK
  6. Select Master Password re-prompt option
  7. Save it
  8. Now when we Try to view hidden field it should ask for master password but it didn't

Expected Result

Master Pasword should be re prompted in order to view hidden nots custom field

Actual Result

Hidden Custom field shows without asking for master password prompt

btw i have uninstalled app from playstore and installed from fdroid with below repo. now i am getting re prompt

I can confirm the same issue with the Google Play Store builds (currently in Version: 2025.1.0). A workaround is to use the F-droid repository, but I would like to stick to the Play Store if this can be fixed ASAP, as Fdroid builds does not support live sync/push updates automatically.

Thank you for reporting this. I was able to replicate the issue following the steps provided. As a temporary workaround I was able to trigger re-prompt by navigating away from the item detail and back after saving changes. It appears that the re-prompt flag is not updated after saving changes to the server. This workaround is applicable to the Play Store version as well as the F-Droid version.
