App crash on Master Password re-prompt when viewing/editing Card #1733

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Try to view/edit a card with re-prompt Master Password enabled
  2. Enter Master Password
  3. Confirm
  4. App crashes

Additional Context

Of course I am using up-to-date Google Play version.
Same operation, on web vault, works fine.

Edit: logging in using master password instead of biometrics seems to work.

Isn't there any option to use biometrics instead of master password when re-prompted? I'm sure I've seen this in some future update/idea. Didn't I?

Hi @informagico, @cloudishBenne and @IrisV3rm

This seems to have previously been reported with https://github.com/bitwarden/mobile/issues/2733 and a fix has been issued with https://github.com/bitwarden/mobile/pull/2713 which will be included in the next release (2023.9). The release has already been pushed out to the stores and awaiting approval from them. It should be available soon.

This issue will now be closed.
