Unable to type "ê" and "Ê" characters in Master Password to open vault with Samsung keyboard (Android App and Firefox Extension) #1700

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to the Bitwarden app on Android
  2. Click on the text box to fill the main password, opening the Samsung keyboard, in french language.
  3. Enter the character 'ê' or 'Ê' (by clicking for extended time on 'e'.

Expected Result

The character is entered.

Actual Result

The character is not entered: nothing happens.

Additional Context

Copy-pasting the 'ê' character works. Typing the character with another keyboard (Google GBoard) also works. The problem only happens for me with Samsung keyboard.

I attempted to reproduce your issue and was unable to do so. I think your error could have its origin in a misconfiguration from your keyboard or the fact that you changed it to french, also you aren't having this issue with other keyboards.
