I guess you are speaking of "Login with device"?! - And what "other client is trying to log in" and which version has that client?

Could you add, if you logged in at least once before on the Android app with your account? Because if you didn't, "Log in with device" won't even work.

On your Android device, when you go into the Settings --> Apps --> Bitwarden, does the BW password manager app even have the permission for "notifications" enabled?

On your Android BW app, please go to Settings --> About --> Version and copy the useful details about the BW app version, your device, your BW server version etc. to insert it here (in your original post, or in a new comment).

another android device with the same version 2026.01

Could you add, if you logged in at least once before on the Android app with your account?

yes. and i pretty sure that it's merely a notification problem. i can see the button if i manually open bitwarden.

On your Android device, when you go into the Settings --> Apps --> Bitwarden, does the BW password manager app even have the permission for "notifications" enabled?

yes. but for regions that FCM doesn't work, please consider support unifiedpush

Hi @vanmilleru,

Just to make sure that you and I are on the same page, in the report above, were you using FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) in the report above?

Thank you in advance,

@SergeantConfused No. FCM fails to work for me, that's why i ask if you can consider support unifiedpush as an alternative to FCM.

Hi @vanmilleru,

Thank you. This seems to be closer to an improvement suggestion or a feature request, than a report about a certain function not operating as expected; with that in mind, please feel free to submit this idea in the Feature Requests section of the Bitwarden Community Forums.

You can sign up on the Bitwarden Community Forums and search for this idea just in case a similar request already exists, maybe this one or this one. If you find one, you can vote for it and contribute to any discussions about it; if not, you can submit this idea as a new request there so that it can be properly tracked.

Because we used GitHub to track development related issues, this report will now be closed. Please note that the Closed as not planned status is for internal tracking purposes only; do not hesitate to submit your suggestion in the Community Forums.

Thank you again,
