Steps To Reproduce

This issue is the sibling/counterpart of https://github.com/bitwarden/clients/issues/7799

Protected note contents should not be readable without entering the master password.

Expected Result

A protected 'secure note' cannot be read without reentering the master password.

Actual Result

You can read a protected 'secure note' without introducing the master pass.

Additional Context

I can't tell if the defect is present in iOS. As it is on browser extension, it's probably on iOS too.

Thank you for your report, it seems like it is a duplicate of this one (https://github.com/bitwarden/clients/issues/7799).

I understand you mention that it is a sibling but it all falls under the same umbrella - contents of an item(a secure note in this case) should not be shown when the Master Password re-prompt setting checkbox is ticked.

If you wish to add any further information/screenshots/recordings etc., please feel free to do so at any time in there - our engineering team will be happy to review these.

This issue will now be closed.
