Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open the Opera browser
  2. Navigate to a website to create a passkey (https://www.passkeys.io/).
  3. Attempt to create a passkey

Expected Result

Bitwarden will prompt to save the passkey.

Actual Result

The Google Password Manager prompts to save the passkey even when it is not enabled.

I can confirm that this can be reproduced in Pixel 8 as well.
Android 16, build number CP1A.260505.005
Bitwarden version - version 2026.4.2
Opera Browser version - version 98.2.5066.88617

This has been an issue for quite some time now. Hopefully we get a resolution soon.
